Incentive for Downtown Businesses
The Town's Public Utilities Commission provides for an Electric Rate Discount Program (up to 50%) for businesses that locate in vacant space within Wallingford's Downtown.

Incentive for Office Development in the I-5 Zone
The Town offers a Real Property Tax Incentive Program for the I-5 zoning district. This zone is located at the intersection of State of CT Rte. 68 and I-91.

Incentives for Manufacturing

The Town offers a Real Property Tax Incentive Program for manufacturers which allows a seven-year, 20% tax incentive for new manufacturing facilities of $3 million or more.
The Town offers a Personal Property Tax Incentive Program for manufacturers that provides two years of benefit.
