Resident Program for Composting

Free Disposal for Wallingford Residents:
- Brush - less than 6 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length. Use the designated area.
- Leaves - Use the designated area. No plastic bags.
- Christmas Trees - Cleaned of all ornamentation.
Oversized Tree Limbs and Logs - A fee will be charged for these items (see fee schedule below).
Landscapers (and residents driving commercial vehicles or vehicles larger than a personal car or pick-up truck) may deliver leaves free of charge if accompanied by the completed Registration Form certifying the materials are from Wallingford households.
All other commercial vehicles will be charged a fee according to the Operator's fee schedule. Compost, mulch and topsoil are available for a fee. Click here for the current fee schedule or contact the site operator.
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
- NO plastic bags!
- NO lumber or treated, painted or rotted wood!
- NO grass clippings!
- NO soil!
- NO other items such as garden waste, garbage, metal, concrete, tires, cardboard, rocks, stumps, etc.!
