Free Disposal for Wallingford Residents:
• Brush - less than 6 inches in diameter and four feet in length. Use the designated bin.
• Leaves - Use the designated bin. No plastic bags.
• Christmas Trees – Cleaned of all ornamentation.
Oversized Tree Limbs and Logs – A fee will be charged for these items.
Landscapers, and residents driving commercial vehicles or vehicles larger than a personal car or pick-up truck, may deliver leaves and brush free of charge if accompanied by the completed Registration Form certifying the materials are from Wallingford households.
All other commercial vehicles will be charged a fee according to the Operator’s price schedule.
Free compost and free ground wood mulch are available to residents while supplies last. A resident is limited to ˝ cubic yard of compost and ˝ cubic yard of mulch in a season. Larger quantities of compost, mulch and topsoil are available for a fee. Click here for 2011 fee schedule or contact the site operator.
Unacceptable Items
• NO plastic bags! • NO lumber or treated, painted or rotted wood! • NO grass clippings! • NO other items such as garden waste, garbage, metal, concrete, tires, cardboard, rocks, stumps, etc.!

Center CLOSED: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Also CLOSED: Mid-January through mid-March.
This program is operated by WeCare Organics, LLC, under a contract with the Town.
