Energy Conservation Fund (ECF) Charges

Applicable:

In 2005, the Connecticut State Legislature passed the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct). Among its many provisions, EPAct directed Connecticut's municipal electric systems (including the Wallingford Electric Division) to begin collecting funds for the purpose of encouraging various energy conservation efforts.  The ECF charge on all WED bills is $0.0025 per kWh.
