  3. Diabetes Q&A with Nurse Ann
    Have you been diagnozed with Diabetes?  Pre-Diabetes?  Anne Bernick, RN, will answer your questions and provide information to help you manage this cronic disease.  Please call 203-265-7753 to register for this class, held every 3rd Monday of the month at 1:30 pm at the Wallingford Senior Center.

  4. Fall Prevention Program
    Free in-home fall risk assessments are available by calling the Wallingford Health Department at 203-294-2065.

  5. Parkinson's Support Group
    All those affected by Parkinson's disease and their care-partners are welcome to attend the group, facilitated by Anne Bernick, RN, which meets on the 4th Friday of each month at 10:15 a.m., Wallingford Senior Center.

  6. Better Breathers Club
    The Better Breaters Club is a support group for patients with COPD and their family members.  The group meets on the first Thursday of every month at 1-2 p.m., Chauncey Conference Center, Cullen Board Room, GaylordCall 203-741-3351 for more information.

  7. Environmental Film & Discussion: Idle Threat
    The Health Department, Conservation Commission and Wallingford Public Library present “Idle Threat,” a film about the environmental and health impact of idling engines. The film showing will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at the Wallingford Public Library, 200 North Main Street, Wallingford, CT 06492, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Discussion will follow. No registration necessary.

  8. Lifestyle Medicine Lecture: Promoting Healthy Change   
    The Lifestyle Medicine lecture is offered by Zorayda Cocchi, OTR/L, RYT, on two dates, Saturday, August 26, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., or Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. The sessions will be held at the Parks & Recreation Department, Doherty Municipal Building, 6 Fairfield Boulevard, Wallingford.
