Annual Water Main Flushing - Spring

The Water Division continues its annual water main flushing program during May.

Flushing will be performed on a Monday through Friday schedule between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The flushing program will remove harmless deposits of accumulated rust and sediment and is necessary in order to improve and maintain water quality.

Important Please check the condition of the water before use, since discoloration of the water and lowered pressures may occur during the flushing.

The area to be flushed beginning May 13, 2013, is as follows:
All streets WEST of the Wilbur Cross Parkway and NORTH of Cheshire Road, including all of Ridgeland, Mohawk Drive, Brookview Drive, Ben Court, Sharon Drive, Dana Boulevard, Hintz Drive, Highland Avenue, Buttonwood Circle, Weatherside Drive, Jamestown Circle, North Turnpike Road, Main Street (Yalesville), South Broad Street, North Colony Road, Circle Drive, Frank’s Court, Mountainbrook Condominiums, Old Colony Road (Tracy), Parkview Road, Colonial Lane, King Street, Apple Street, Hope Hill Road, Hill Avenue, Church Street (Yalesville), Hanover Street, Oak Street, Chimney Hill Road, Grove Street, Cassella Drive, Staffordshire Condominiums, and Evergreen Condominiums.
